Cyanotype, also known as sun print, is a historical photo technique with deep cyan tones. The technique has fascinating and surprising effects and is easy and particularly suitable for experimenting. Prior knowledge is not required.
We expose photo templates, small objects and beautiful things such as flowers and grass. It's about playing with light and shadow, the basics of photography. You can even turn your own photos into cyanotypes or combine completely different things. You can quickly and playfully create your own unique cyanotypes.
customer opinions
I gave the Cyanotype After Work Workshop with Kirsten as a birthday present to a very dear friend. We had two wonderful and, above all, creative hours with her and are very proud of our beautiful prints. We wholeheartedly recommend taking part in one of her workshops!

We had a lovely summer evening in the garden and were introduced to the art of cyanotype. It was a wonderful and very enjoyable evening!

I booked a private group workshop with Kirsten for my birthday. The communication beforehand was already so friendly and easygoing. Once we arrived, we received a short introduction and could get started right away. Cyanotype is a fairly simple process that nevertheless offers an incredible range of possibilities, and Kirsten has a wonderful collection of materials for everyone to work with. Even those in our group who are not particularly artistically inclined were enthusiastic and proud to take their prints home. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we all fell a little bit in love with cyanotype and that this definitely wasn’t our last time. Many thanks to Kirsten!

The workshop at Blaues Glück was a very special experience that I was able to share with my children – a truly lovely and creative family experience. We were free to experiment and received expert and warm support whenever we needed it. We now have a little cyanotype gallery at home and love remembering this wonderful workshop. Thank you so much!
